So a year and a half after getting rid of my last UAS setup to TheBeej (who did the kit PLENTY of justice), I couldn't resist the urge any longer. I got back home from a business trip a few Friday's ago at 12:00 a.m., and completed the install by the following afternoon around 1:00 p.m. Once again, the UAS kit is topnotch, along with Zack's service (as always). There was a unique shipping situation, and Zack more than took care of that along with ensuring I had all the necessary parts for the install. So, three UAS installs later.... and here we are!
Aired all the way up:
Thought this looked kinda crazy:
Laid out:
I went with the 7 switch this time around. Much smaller than the 9, and I can still go side to side by hitting individual corners:
Some silver love:
Back to black:
Few install pics.
Tank and compressors in the spare tire well:
Mounted to rubber pieces that were fastened to the board prior to carpeting:
Bulkhead fitting that allowed the hose feeding the rear valve block to entire the spare tire well:
Other side of the bulkhead fitting:
Front valve block:
Rear valve block:
This is where the hose coming from the front valves enters the car:
New UAS billet front mounts:
And for those of you wondering what an air leak looks like while spraying everything down with soap and water, here it is.
