My old Charger as well as some others

Here you go guys - my 68 Charger

My 6.1L Hemi currently being disassembled for a 7.0L stroker kit

The charger already has a beefed suspension, 4 wheel disc brakes, hydroboost unit, 5-speed manual transmission, and some other goodies... the Hemi should be icing on the cake.

    1969 Plymouth Road Runner - 440+6 - 4-speed - 3.91

You own 2 of my favorite cars! My brother owned a beautiful 69 Charger RT, metallic blue with vinyl roof. I had the pleasure of driving an all original 68 Roadrunner with 16,000 original miles last year. That 7L Hemi will make that baby howl! Handle better also as third gen hemis are relatively light.

God, I love that car. Sounds like an awesome combination. If I could afford one, I'd definitely have another '68. Mopars are the most expensive to buy and/or restore.
Years ago, at seperate times, I had two '68 Charger R/Ts, both 440/4-speed/3.54 Dana cars, as well as a '70 GTX that was Sublime, with an original Air Grabber, 440-4bbl/727/4.10 Dana.
    Someday, someday..
    Good luck with your project...

The Charger will also get an 18" wheel and tire package... Looking for some good handling out of this thing... all i know is the 1" rear and 1 3/8" sway bars will help

Oh yeah, that should help dramatically. What shocks are you going to go with? Have you tied the front and rear frame rails?
I'm doing/have done the same with my GTO; quick/firm-ratio steering box, 1 3/8-1" F/R sway bars, 18-inch American Racing Rebel wheels, rear discs, etc..
I'm looking into either TKO600 5-speed, or T56 6-speed conversion, and possibly taking out the 462-cube HO engine and replacing it with a built late-model LSX engine..
Do you have more pics of the Charger and work in progress?
