    Damn camera still works, want a good excuse to buy a new one, maybe try runnin it down with the charger an the mag simultaneously...

    I had toyed with that idea, wondered how to keep the camera from flipping, but not be so high the car hits it. Was thinking a beanbag of some sort........

    rag or shirt over the top with a rock on each side holding the shirt down. Keeps it low still and you can get some serious weight on both sides without damaging the camera at all. This held up to my car at over 160mph. The guys put it right on the dotted line so i'd have a chance to line it up properly at that speed and not hit one of the rocks.

    Bottom of my camera has a place for it to screw onto my tripod, i lost the platic plate with the bolt from my tripod so i built one from piece of metal and a bolt. i was plannin on making one larger, just a wide flate plate with a threaded stud on it to screw the camera too.
