    300c +alps +autobahn = driving pleasure [Vid/Pics]

    oh, hi!

some photos from last weekend in the alps..
    Photo 1 , Photo 2 , Photo 3 , Photo 4

and a video (rightclick, save as) 40mb wmv

one of my favorite "autobahns" through the mountains, from switzerland to italy, with a very nice scenic view. if only there wasnt this rattle noise comming from my KWs, again!

PS: KW owners, when you replace one of your rear bushings, replace both, even if only one of them makes noises!! the other side will start rattling too after a few more kilometers..
I'm sorry but the 300c is gone..

I am using a "single vacuum cup" holder attached to the front window. if you want a professional mounting system with more than one vacuum thingy, check out this link.
the camera gets power from mr.incredibles usb mod, and I made a "fake battery" with an usb cable attached to it, because there was no DC input plug on the camera for long trips ;-)

Holy Cow - The pics are great, but I loved the Vid. I was following right along, driving with you - making choices along the way... that merge at 1:15 broke my heart...
You carried that speed through that 40k hairpin, accelerated through the sweepers, and past the sedan, and got stuck by a fraction, behind that van...

    That was fun to watch.

    Awesome.

hehe, thanks @All ! I'm glad you liked it

a friend of mine killed his engine shortly before the first hairpin curve, where I pass the dark blue audi in the vid. driving up the hill with RPM constantly hitting the limiter was too much for his VW there used to be a big black oil spot from his car in the middle of the road for some years, but now it has faded out :-)

Nice vid! Thanks for sharing. The bridge crossing would have looked so cool if the minivan wasn't in front of you.
