    SLP Line Lcok

Looking at possible purchase of the line lock and was wondering if I could put a push button switch in place of the toggle switch.

What is the rating on the toggle switch, amps/volts?

Use a relay and you will extend the life of any switch you decide to use. Just make sure you use a diode across it to reduce back EMF. (When the coil's power is turned off, it be it a relay or a line lock, the collapsing magnetic field generates a voltage spike back to the switch which will cause some mild arcing. )

I'm not sure what the rating is, but we can try and find out from SLP for you.
