I did weigh it but not accurately just w bathroom scale w me holding it and without. Yes it does feel lighter than 3 lbs - maybe 1.5 lbs is a better est. It is VERY light-i should measure it on a kitchen scale.

I will take pics of the mods we did so u can fab up a magnum version.

    Fitting to a Magnum

1st you have to remove the front bumper bar. It has 4 bolts/side AND two spot welds/side that have to be drilled out. Fargo did that with ease.

We then test fit the lightweight bumper support from REM..... it seemed a little pointy for a magnum:

...and it was; the magnum front fascia would not go back on correctly.

So we fixed that with a little cut in the upper bar and easily bent each side back to make it "flatter" to better match the contour of the magnum's nose:

That done, we also bent the two middle vertical supports "up" a bit to help provide a flat contour that the fascia would fit against:

Here is another shot of the revised profile from above.

Before putting the nose back on, we cut about 1/2" off the front support and bent the two sides back so they met in the middle (sorry no pic).

Overall a 20 lb weight savings for a reasonable price and an not too tricky install (once you are comfortable taking the nose off these cars, which is 2nd nature to fargo.....)

    AHHHHHHH.....you hacked my product...lol..
Honestly nice job...As we discussed earlier I'll try to use you pics and make adjustment to our fixture so we can add the magnum support to the product line.. If anyone is in the S. Fla. area and has a magnum we can use for a test fit you'll get a free support.

No problem Paul. It is a QUALITY product, the welds are all very nice and held up well while we did the bending. A small adj is all that is necessary to have a magnum version. If you don't have takers locally, once race season is over I can take this one off and ship back to you to use as a prototype. (couple of months).

Yes it replaces the plastic and crash beam. It's intended for racing and off road use, it is not intended for impact...

have these been fit on a Challenger?? I pm'd Paul@Rem but heard nothing back, just wondering if there will be modding like the 300 install?? very interested in this, may as well go full out since i have the front & rear strut baraces and setting up to order the mid supports.

any info or pics would be great.

    Hey there,

The Challenger Specific one fits without any extra modifications

    http://www.speedlogixstore.com/product_p/sx-lc-lbs.htm

The Charger one requires a bit of modding to fit the 300 or Magnum - but if ordered for those cars we will make sure it is done before the customer gets their bumper support
