Thank you to the folks from Arizona for wanting to see snow and letting Dave hear you..LOL. Welcome to NEMC folks! I was great to finally meet Chris, Jenn, Arlene, Mark and Michelle.

it's right here!
Ok, it's my turn. Just got internet back so I can respond now. I wasn't about to try it on my phone because fat fingers + small keys = first grade giberish.
My thank you list:
First off, thank you Rich, CTCruzer, for getting this thing put together. Although you are LX'less, you are in it for the long run. This thing went off without a hitch.
My wife Pam for being my rock since Dave's passing. You're amazing. My son Justin for his support also. He spent lots of time with Dave while racing all over the east coast. You're the best.
Bill, Nina, Chuck & Michelle. Another awesome group of friends. Being together at Daves final moments will always have a special bond between us. Kind words from all.
All our NEMC members that made the trek despite the weather forecast. You guys are what makes our "club" great.
Onto our day. Got there a little early and touched base with Steve, the manager at Hooters. He had a section set aside for us and had a couple extra girls to help out. Thanks Steve for the great job done by all. NEMC members started to slowly trickle in, as the snow started. One of the most emotional moments was when Daves son Chris walked in with his Fiancee Jessica, and his Mom Arlene. It was like we had known each other for awhile as we had talked on the phone numerous times and texted back and forth quite a bit. They fit right into the NEMC mold. Wonderful, genuine people. Chuck and Michelle made a wonderful poster with the best pick of Dave and it was displayed for signing by all. I struggled with that one. There were alot of small, emotional moments as conversations with different people brought up different memories of Dave. Thanks to Jan also for getting the cake. It was amazing. I was also able to toast Dave with his favoritre beverage. An O'Douls.
All in all a wonderful day. Couldn't have thought of a better way to spend such a crappy day.
I do have to add one small thing. There is a certain someone, or two or three, that pulled off a quick one. Yeah, it's you 1Fine. :-) Between the "I'm not sure we can make it" and the "Look what we saw in front of us" pics, 1fine and Chevy Hubby, along with KJ, roll into the M&G in a new Mopar '11. Congrats to you guys, especially Kevin. You deserve it. That's a great looking machine you have there.
So, there we have it. A wonderful day to remember a great friend who touched so many peoples' lives. RIP my friend, you'll always be in my heart. Race on dude.

Glad everyone made it home safely. We had a short, but long, trip as well!
Great time and I will come down with a cough (cough, cough, can't go to work) any day to make an event like this one!!
Thanks to all who put this great memorial meet on.
IT'S "MY07" AGAIN. SEND ANOTHER CAR!
