Had a great time today, use this thread for pictures and stories from today.

Met up at Manchester, CT Hooters. Had 12 cars, great turnout. After a "warmup" order of wings (Next time I'll get sauce on them so no one complains! When your steering wheel is sticky from hot sauce, dont gripe at me! :tongue: ) Headed out onto 84, SublimeTime in the lead. He gets us in the wrong lane and we have to dive over 2 lanes in a hurry to catch our exit. A moment of silence if you please for jmckenzie who wasnt able to get over in time due to traffic and fell out of the caravan. (j, PM JohnnyVav, we need to verify your cell number. We tried a few times to reach you to get you back with us but no connection.) Saw a nice TopBanana on the opposite side of the highway, flashed lights, is that anyone on here?

Get up on Route 2. I had asked 1finecharger to get me a soda when she went for gas but she didnt get back in time to hand it to me. So what do we do? Like a couple of lunatics, she passes it to me at 65 mph out her passenger window to me. Thankfully her hubby was driving or I would have a long thirsty drive. By the way girlie, NOT nice tormenting me with it beforehand!

Crusin along Route 2 with very little traffic, I decide to pass everyone in the group. Waving as I go, everyone laughing as I roll by. The lead changes a few times, I fall to the end of the line again and we end up on Route 6 all by ourselves. NO TRAFFIC other than us. We hit a nice straight away and I decide Im passing everyone again, at a much higher speed than the first time. As Im going by, Im waving everyone on to keep up and some do. Get to the front next to SublimeTime and we both stand on the gas. Hit about what did you say we were doing Gary? 130 or so? 2 Sublimes, side by side, eating up pavement with a pack of LX behind gaining on us. Just awesome.

Get down in to Rhode Island and SublimeTime takes the wrong exit. Thankfully, his car executed a U-turn without a meeting with the curb. Rolled into Hooters where 4 other members had gone ahead for parking and table spots.

After standing around talking, inside we go to consume large amounts of wings...wait, who ordered a burger in the Wing place?? haha Someone else got crabs!! A great time, lots of laughs.

Wonder what we will do in May.......

I'm sorry I missed the exit, I didn't see anyone change lanes til the last minute & I had a line of cars next to me. I didn't feel like destroying my car, so I just went up to the next exit & turned around. I programmed my GPS to find the Warwick address & it was sending me half way back home, so I just came home. I'm glad I at least hung around in Manchester with everyone for a bit, but there was no way I could ahve caught up to you. I have never driven around there before & didn't want to get myself lost.

I'm not sure if you saw this on Chargerforums or not, but reveresrt8 was conducting a poll for a date to meet at Bostonville Grille in Lynnfield, MA 1 Sunday in May.

Hey jm, sorry we lost ya. That RT 2 thing was a little screwy. Had a great time today. Like Tom said, we had a little spirited driving on the way there. Tom & I hit around 130 with nhdave an eagle3t bounding up behind us. It was a trip. I'll post up later on with some pics. Just a tad tired right now. Peace\/

Had a blast yesterday. Was really nice to FINALLY make a M&G (insert ribbings here) and see everyone. Hope the fogging Gary and I left helped diminish the fly and nat population some Gary gee I wonder why your a tad tired there buddy. I think there's a few guy's that are VERY tired today

Feeling Springy? I think many of us were & I am not just talking about the weather!

17 Cars, 23 LXers, 1 Hooters in Manchester CT and a caravan to Hooters of Warwick, RI. After a mere 9 hours at Hooters in Warwick we decided to call it a night. But not before taking lots of pics with the girls & having lots of laughs. Great time with great people! One of my favorite characteristics of this group is everyone is so nice, have great sense of humors & we just sincerely enjoy each others company.

Yeah, that was real cool. Two Sublimes side by side at 130 and I see you two, (Dave & Mark) flyin' on up in two SRT's. (Just a side note to all you weather nay-sayers) It was a great day. Bright and sunny in Manchester, 70 degrees. Partly sunny all the way to RI. No rain at all.

We also found out the "perfect" time to arrive. 4:00 pm. The shift change is @ 5 so photo ops with the "incoming" shift, also noted as the "A Team", are possible. The manager was nice enough to let the girls come out and take pics.

It was fun to go back for hooterspolloza version 2.0. I'm sure it won't take much talk to make this a annual trip. Good to see everyone and hopefully we can top 16 cars at the next meet and Greet.
