Cruisin' For A Cause II (My sincerest thanks)

Where to start: First I want to thank my wife Pam and son Justin. Her patience with me during all the phone calls, errands, etc, along with getting the final touches setting up Saturday morning which allowed me the honor of enjoying the final leg through downtown Brattleboro. "J", thanks for all you hard work.

Carol & Brian Young, Campground owners: Another great year and tons of help from you guys. Don & Charlotte were a great help. Thanks.

Tom,(SublimeinMa): As usual, you outdid yourself. I couldn't have pulled this off without you. All this, along with your busy work schedule to boot. It's nice getting hit from a different angle with ideas. Glad your onboard brother. Caitlyn, thank you for helping out with the raffle tix. You guys did an awesome job. It's always a pleasure to have you with us.

Jim,(My07RT): My sincerest thanks for coordinating the MA State Police escort. That was HUGE. Squeezing that in between your family and busy work schedule, is greatly appreciated. Paula, thanks for lending Pam a hand with everything. She was very thankful. Shannon: You, along with Caitlyn,J, and Jim's,(Ole Yeller) nephew did a super job. You guys ROCK !!!

Dave,Mark and everyone else that lent a hand: Thank you. I know I am going to forget someone. If I do, my apologies.

Brian Simpson: Thank you for bringing that awesome Whelen Charger to our event. Being on such short notice, my thanks.

Paul ( Torch_Vert) Our extreme thanks for the "Kenny Beemer Award". That touched alot of hearts. I apologize for getting so emotional during the presentation. Marion, Kenny's Mom, was so happy. You're a good man with a great heart.

Now to all my LX brethren,(and sisters), who made this possible. Without you, it wouldn't have been. We had some long distance LX'ers join us. Thanks Rab, to you and your wife for making the long trek to join us. It was nice seeing you two again.

NEMC members: Again, you represent us well. An awesome display of Modern Muscle. These cars are opening eyes and people are amazed at the pride taken in these cars you people had out there.

I received alot of positive input from yesterday, along with some ideas and pointers. If anyone has some input, positive or negative, send me a pm and we'll build on that.

    Sincerely,

    Gary Nielsen

    To all,

Gary & Tom, I bow down to the efforts that you guy's always put forth and this one was no exception. Thank You. By far, it is the efforts that the members of NEMC put out to make all these type of gatherings possible. Through there diligent work and attention to detail, everything is always an awesome event. It makes it all more special when we do them for a special cause, as this one was.
I am proud to be part of NEMC and I thank you all. My family has grown so much of the past few months.

    Sincerely,
    Mark

One thing that should have been in the first post: I want to send out a HUGE thanks to Rob, (Rob06charger), and Aarons, for their VERY GENEROUS donation of $500.00 to Make a Wish. This is the second year they have done so. They also donated two DVD players for the raffle. Thank you sir.

For all that want to know totals, I will have that in a couple days. I had one returned check, and Camners check, which he didn't fill out fully when mailed, still did not get filled out completely at the cruise. He forgot to sign it. I have sent it back to him and await his response. There were a few people that said they were sending donations a week and a half ago but nothing yet so I figure they won't be coming, so i'll have an amount in the next couple days. I know the figures won't be as high as last year as we had fewer cars and a few less corporate donations. Just something to build on next year. All in all it was a very good day and I want to thank everyone again for their help and participation. Peace\/
