    Great customer service!

Just wanted to share my experience with Pedders and their customer service.

I recently ordered over $800 worth of rear suspension bushings for my Charger directly from Pedders. The online ordering sytem added $73.91 for shipping. I sucked it up cause that's pretty typical for UPS or FEDEX to Hawaii - they totally rape us over here.

Anyway, when my shipment came, I saw that Pedders used a flat rate box from the Post Office, which as we all know ships to anywhere in the US for $14.95, regardless of the weight.

I thought that was very smart of Pedders, but wondered if they would refund the difference since I had paid so much for the shipping.

I emailed Deb at Pedders and asked for a refund of the difference - $58.96 - and guess what? Within 2 days Pedders had issued a Paypal refund to me in that amount!

I imagine many companies would have balked at giving a refund, and would have tried to chalk it up to a "handling fee".

    Thanks Pedders!

Does anybody know what causes the premature frontend/steering parts failures on these cars? I owned an 05 300"C"and had to change all tie-rod ends , strutrod /bushing(stabilizer/ torsion strut or what ever they are calling it now) and balljoints. I just bought a 2006 300SRT8 W/ 36k (22 THOU MILES) and had to replace outer tie-rods (and of course wheel alignment) already. New pads for Brembo brakes , that was quick and easy, and new front tires . Caster on these cars is 9-12 degrees . That seems like a lot compared to any other cars i've owned . Sure makes the handling nice @ high speed though.

i think the weight of the cars has a lot to do with it, as for the caster, it's not a bad thing.
