Sorry for the big red text but I'm very fed up with people, (not just you) spreading the myth that to rebush the arm you need to replace it. Bushings can be had from dodge WITH OUT buying an arm.
The only bushing you cannot buy separately is the strut mount bushing on the lower control arm. At east that's what my parts guy told. The other (fronts and rears) can be had for less than $50 each.

Learn something every day. When we started looking into the AWD stuff, you could not get the LCA stuff like Rob said. That is great for the consumer and I am glad Chrysler did it for you guys.
THANKS! LOL

OK I for one would love to complete my AWD Track II that has been on hold for 2 years....
People on this forum do not doubt the quality of the Pedders product .... just the "We want to do this.... oh ...oh ... no wait ... forget it attitude.... sorry your stuck.... "
AFE Stage II.. Diablo Predator... Billet Tech Underhood Bling...22 Elite Center Console Cover...Rear Air Difusser...Factory Reproduction AWD SRT Wheels.. Nitto INVO 245/45/20 ...IPOD adapter..JBA Shorties.. HHP High flow Cats... ZOOOMERS....Mopower Lip spoiler...(needs paint and install) ..More to come... Next Razor Edge front strut brace... and Custom Billet Tech Front Emblem
I have all four (right and left) LCA bushings I bought separately from a dealership in New York. Price wasn't so bad, but they are just OEM. I'd really like a better set - hopefully poly - before these get installed, but I don't know how realistic that is.
For now you can put me on the definitely interested list.

Again I disagree. The lack of interest here directly stems from your lack of commitment to the AWD community. Pedders is a company that makes these parts for all types of cars so I am sure the CAD design and the proto-typing is all done on computer. The struts should have been prototyped for the fronts 2 years ago.... so that leaves the LCA bushings.. and Lower Strut mount bushings. I also am completely amazed that you cant realize that if you make front struts .... then people will by for all four corners... maybe a bump steer and oh yeah we also have a front sway bar that NO other company has (if you made it as promised 2 years ago).... so now you are UP-selling these folks and with the pedders quality people will buy the parts. Also I know there are people out there that would ask me how I got my AWD lowered and the performance handling stuff. If the people have a limited budget then I have to send them elsewhere because you dont have a complete system for us. Another thing .... we all may get different vehicles later on... I might get a Camaro.... for a 2 door....if you treat me this way right now I may decide to look into other options in the future instead of Pedders based on consumer confidence.
i'm interested in the lower control arm bushings and the lower strut mount bushings for my 05 AWD
I have tried multiple times to get the ball rolling. I am currently on 6 I think LX forums and posted in everyone to see if there is a desire for AWD front struts and LCA bushings. This is the only forum that I have any activity on for the AWD. As you know, I cannot post this kind of thread in anything but our Pedders section.
The challenge is we need 25 sets going in to manufacture the expensive molds and fixtures. We have never been able to get 10 committments from the AWD community. There are very few AWD LXs out there interested in performance. Now that you can get the LCA bushings from Chrysler, there is even fewer opportunities now for us to get to the minimum objective.
If the 2WD guys want to judge us for not making them, then so be it. But startup manufacturing is very expensive. We make our molds out of expensive materials and machining. But if the market is not there for it, then we will not make it.
As I understand, I do not think anyone manufactures all the 2WD bushings that we do. The R&D for the LX products was in the hundreds of thousands of dollars! So I am knocking on the door, but no one is home.

I know I do not have an AWD, but my husband does, and needs front end components...
There is a saying out there "If you build it, they will come."
SO............."If you make it, they will come (buy it)."
If you guys don't commit at Pedders, you will not get these guys to commit. I personally think that there really is much more interest in the AWD products, but nobody opens their mouth about it because it hasn't gone anywhere in the past. So why should they step up until you commit to stepping up and make the products for them to buy?
Mike,
Same questions I asked last year:
Before you made any of your products (regardless of what model they were for), did you get solid commitments from any potential buyers for them? Seriously, how many buyers did you have lined up for parts for these?!
Saturn Sky/Pontiac Solstice
Pontiac G5/G6
Chevy Camaro (before it was even for sale?)
Buick Enclave
Come on guys... parts for a minivan/SUV?! How many soccer mom's are you expecting to buy performance parts for these?! ... But you won't finish the 3 remaining parts to complete a product that was "promised" over a year ago?!
I freakin' give up...![]()
