Hey guys, I was wondering what would be the best combo for a 2007 Charger RT.
I'm looking to get around 450 rwhp+, can it be done? and is it possible to add boost on top of that
Or should I just look for a 6.1 motor?
If the combo is possible I was wondering what else I would need to build towards that goal (certain type of headers..etc..)
Thanks!

450 RWHP out of a 5.7 is only happening N/A if it's a 5.7 based stroker. For those power levels, starting with a 6.1 and do a head/cam upgrade would do the trick but the when you starting looking into getting a full 6.1 engine etc you start getting into stroker territory anyway, price wise. Jacob,
With a Super Spartan, Inertia big valve ported 5.7 heads, JBA headers, and borla catback, what kind of gains could I expect out of my 5.7? I'm also looking hard at the cast 5.7 intake manifold being touted on the forums (which addresses another weakness of the 05-08 5.7's).
Thanks!

I saw the cast manifold at the Mopar Nats Sunday...it does look pretty darned good!
I'm in a similar situation where I'm going to be installing the Spartan plus cam, premium heads, dynatech lt and hi flow cats, corsa exhaust, underdrive pulley and custom tune. Just waiting on the heads and headers and then I'll be booking an install date. I also plan on getting my 5.7 dynoed before and after so hopefully within the next few weeks I'll be able to let you know what kind of gains you can expect to see. I'm personally hoping to get around 425 Rwhp, not sure if that is realistic or not
