Ok so my '06 cluster does not have the 0-60 timer but I know the '07s do. So you are saying that I can buy an '07 cluster off of you that is programed with the 0-60 timer and have it altered so it will have my VIN and mileage in it as well? How would I go about doing this, just send you my cluster?

In theory (Theory) we will have an exchange program setup.

    1. You order a custom cluster overlay for your car, it will have a 180 MPH speedo and custom artwork done.

    2. We program a "core" cluster with your VIN and mileage and send it to you.

    3. You receive it and plug it in and you are done, you then send you cluster in as a "core".... if everything checks out with your cluster then you are done... you have a custom cluster overlay with a 180 MPH speedo and a 0-60 timer...

In Theory as of right now... still trying to see if there are any pitfalls.

Went and played with it and there are going to be some growing pains... as 65 Standard mentioned the '07 Cluster did not allow me to open my rear hatch but putting my '06 cluster back in it did.

Also some issues with copying the 0-60 timer and I am working on resolving it... patience please.

I need to borrow someone car locally who doesn't have an SRT and install the 140 MPH speedo cluster the 180 mph cluster file was copied to to see if the calibration works correctly.

Sounds like a good plan to me. I will be patiently waiting for testing to be done.

nathan, the problem is that you used a cloned charger cluster in a magnum, and not the 2007 in a 2006. everyone thinks the charger and magnum cluster are the same, but they are not. the good news is that you successfully cloned it.

if you clone a 2007 magnum srt cluster and use that in your 2006, your rear gate will function normally. however the cruise control changed almost every year and you may have another issue with that.

i am using an '07 superBee cluster in my '06 magnum R/T. i solved the issues with the rear gate and cruise control. the rear gate will work with a stock charger dash button. the ratman mod dash button will not work, but a stock button will. the rear handle can be modified by removing the resistor built into it. then the outside handle will work again. one plus is that the key FOB's 4th button will pop the gate remotely. the cruise was fixed by changing to an '07 stalk.

i bet you can change my old '06 magnum R/T cluster into an '09 SRT challenger cluster for me.

Hey Tony - how did the cruise stalk change from the 06 to 07 that it needed to be changed ?

I realy wanted to do a 07 SRT Charger cluster to get the 4th button and the kicker button to work, how much work is it to remove the resistor in the gate button ? Did you take pics as you did the work ?

the resistor is burried under the plastic. i had to dig away at the plastic until i found the resistor. i don't remember which side of the switch had it. i did have a thread with pictures showing everything, but it was deleted along with all of my old threads. i ended up giving the modified switch to a member here when i shaved the gate.
