i agree, everyone thinks paint work, whether its custom graphics,or just repainting your car or spot repairing a damaged area is childs play..it's not...this is not something you want to experiment with, have it done right the first time,by a professional

oh,by the way,i was at the paint store and talked to them about your idea, they do not have any overlays to put up aginst your car.they said all u can do is "experiment" until you find a combo you like...we can paint a test panel the color of your car and then experiment on that...lots cheaper and less stressful then putting something on the car itself, that you end up hating

I agree. Working with paint is ass. I only painted 3 cars in my time, one with a line down the side. BFD. Based on the response I've just read I'll leave it alone cause Im not paying in upwards of 10k.

    Thanks for the help.

    I'll miss you big brother!

we can still play around with a test panel,if u want to get an idea of how it would look,at different angles and lighting conditions, then if we find something u like,go from there

Steve, remember the link you sent me for the dude in AZ? He says that he's only been doing it for 3 months. I have not seen his work. So.....the skinny is he can't do clear, but would be willing to drive here. He needs a garage and someone to shoot the clear. He charges $275 for valve covers, wich is cheap! (me thinks) Maybe we could get a deal on 2 cars? Maybe we should talk to Talon and find out what he paid to get a baseline. I'll run by my bodyshop to get a price to clear. Oh BTW, he says he does it for 1/4 of the cost of the other guys around AZ!
    I like to pass!!
