    I am crazy into music, but I doubt many other people here listen to my favorite bands. Opeth is the best modern band to me. Progressive rock and death metal in a crazy fusion. Take Dream Theater, Rush, Pink Floyd and mix it with Dimmu Borgir, Cannibal Corpse, or some other crazy death metal band. They have a who album (Damnation) of mellow rock songs too if you don't like their heavier stuff. My 65 year old mom liked it! Their Blackwater Park album is considered a metal classic already.
