Anyone have a sugggestion on where I can pickup a decent helmet for the speed/racing part of LX SpringFest? Any suggestions on brand and type? I think it might be to late for online ordering, the joys of procrastignation...

do a google for Pyrotect. Got mine for about $135. They must be rated SA2005 and up to pass inspection. Be carefull to not get the M2005. They're for motorcycles and are not fire retarded.

Rest In Peace Ron...
Bought a Pyrotect from www.apexperformance.com as mentioned, about $135.00 very comfy helmet, I got the open face one as I can't stand the full face helmets, I feel like a spaceman in those!

There is a place in dublin behind the BMW dealer...sorry I do not remeber the name but it is in those shopping centers.
Maybe I should get one for the driving I do in the Bay Area.
I'll miss you big brother!

Search for the Bell helmets website. They carry Pyrotect and have a few dealers in California. Nothing like trying it on before you buy. I went to to a different size then the one recommended from the sizing technique.
