    Steve Mosher

    My name is Steve Mosher.

I drive a 2007 Chrysler 300C Steel Blue SRT Design group.
Mods so far and rear backup assist, factory nav, factory auto start.

I spent almost 4 months researching to either buy the 300C or buy a Charger.

I love the car. Those of you who have seen it know its never dirty and is always kept in a garage.

I drive this car everyday from Modesto to San Jose and back. Its a long drive but in this car its well worth it.
I'm 40 years old this year and figured it was time I get back into the car scene after closing a car stereo shop 15 years ago.
I missed the people and cars and from what I can tell nothing really has changed. Still great people and still great fun.

I guess thats all I got for now.

Now please ... BUY ME PARTS! jk

Hey y'all! I'm Tamara. I own/drive a 2006 Brilliant Black Crystal Pearl Dodge Charger SRT-8 with all the possible options offered back in 2005.

So far I've replaced the exhaust system with Zoomers Catbacks, the air intake with a polished stainless steel Airhammer intake, the swaybars with beefier Hotchkiss sways, the thermostat with a 180* t-stat, the interior map and dome lights with red LEDs, and the taillights and third brake light with custom tinted/painted tails from 402 Motoring and I've added daytime running lights and the Coolit Fan mod from NoESP.

My whole goal with the car is to make it more fun for road course driving as well as daily driving. For me, the car looks pretty good as is, so I focused more on performance mods.

I've been to track days at Laguna Seca, Infineon, Willow Springs (multiple times), Fontana and Altamont in the past 18 months and have driven to meets in Georgia, Arizona and Southern California, stacking up 34k miles in the 27 months I have owned the car.

I love all the LXes and all the mods that others have done to their cars. I try to take lots of photos and get some video when I go to meets, as you can probably tell from my past posts.

I'm looking forward to doing more with this new club, at least as much as my husband and soon-to-be baby will allow.

My name is a carefully guarded secret. No one knows it for sure. Oh wait its my username. So much for hiding behind my keyboard :D

I drive a 2005 Magnum RT that I picked up in January 2005. I actually started buying aftermarket parts for the RT I had on order in 2004. As for mods... well, I'm sure there is something original on the car but I can't think offhand what it is. I've pretty much rebuilt the thing and the Darth Hemi Reloaded thread explains why my Magnum has been in the shop since September of last year.

After getting busted by the cops a few times (outran a helicopter in one well-published event... beat a Porsche in another without realizing a squad car was right behind me the whole time) I wised up and decided that the race track was the only high-speed venue for me, and I enjoy that a lot. I don't do drag racing. I prefer road courses or deserted mountain roads. Darth Hemi is being set up as a full-on track car right now.

Made a lot of friends here over the years. Never expected to... Was just looking for mod advice and wound up trapped here :D Seriously though, the best part about this sort of venue is meeting people in the real world. Living in Fresno as I did until recently it was always a bummer that so few LX'ers were around. Now that I'm gone they're coming out of the woodwork. Figures ;-). Looking forward to meeting you folks... but I'm not showing my face until I get my car back.

Well, I am not very good at writing but I will give my intro to you and not try and make it like a novel. To start with for those of you who don't know, my name is Erick. I have been into cars from a young age. My grandfather built race cars in his spare time and I took several years of auto shop in high school. My first muscle car was a 71 Chevelle with a 350 short block. After school and up until recently I have had various economy cars and trucks and now am a proud owner of a 07 Charger RT. I was introduced to the LX line by my son-in-law back in 05 when he bought his 300C SRT8. After driving his car a few times I was hooked and I decided that I needed a HEMI. While I am not a big fan of the 300, I knew the Charger was soon to be out. As pricing and fuel costs were the prohibitive factors in keeping me from a SRT, the RT was readily available so I knew that was going to be the route for me. Not a bad choice considering that I would not be racing the car even though I do have a tendency to have a lead foot. Other than that I liked no, I loved the SRT, but what's not to love on my RT?? I look forward to the many activities and learning experiences to come from belonging to a club for enthusiasts. I love the LX and hope to enjoy the car and all of your comraderie over the time to come. Hope to see you all at the upcoming monthly meetings and activities.

My name is Marc from Modesto, born and raised in Fremont, Ca. I drive a 2006 Dodge Charger R/T Daytona. Mods so far are 22 inch rims, Mopar CAI, Mopar remote engine start, Borla exhaust, front and rear fascia.
A little about myself. This is my second Charger. I bought a Bright Silver se, and kept it for 6 months.

Besides being a CenCalLX member I am also a member of C-4. I started C-4 in California because I felt Central Cali wasn't being represented. We had a lot of guys that wanted to ride out but wanted the feel of a local club.

I am glad to see CenCalLX being born, and to be apart of history. I feel like Central Cali is finally being represented and acknowledged properly.

    Hi my name is Hector.

I drive a 2007 Inferno Red Dodge Charger R/T. It has no options except the standard ones. This is my first brand new car. I looked for a car for only 3 days. Didn't think I could afford the SRT. The Charger R/T was the first LX I test drove and I loved it. I drive from San Jose to Menlo Park so I needed somewhat of a fuel efficient car. One of my regrets is not getting any options, especially the EVIC.

I have a couple mods that make my Charger different then a basic one. I added one 15" subwoofer and replaced the four 6x9 speakers powered by an aftermarket amp, changed the stock cd deck with a 7" Dvd Touchscreen, changed the exhaust to Magnaflow mufflers, lowered the car, changed the wheels to 20" wheels, bought superchips flashpaq and recently got the predator, got shorty headers, K&N intake, spoiler, srt hood, some Billet Technolgy stuff, Jina Embroidery console and headrest, and probably other things I can't think off right now. Planning to get the sidewinder cam and Airhammer installed as soon as it gets here, it's in the mail. To many mods to do, not enough money. I'm far from done.

This car is my fourth car in four years. I recently wanted to upgrade to a SRT but doesn't seem logical for me. Who knows how long I'll keep this car, but right know I'm enjoying it. These cars are amazing. The people who own these car are even greater. Looking forward to the Club M&G.

    Art Miller,

    i drive a 2007 Plum Crazy SRT8 Charger.
i am 46 years old, grew up in Fremont Ca.
bought a house and moved to Modesto in 1987.
in high school i hot rodded a 68 camaro and sold it to finance a 70 Z-28(wish i had hung onto that car)
several friends were driving big-block Mopars and i have always wanted to build restore a coronet or charger.
the SRT8 is the first fast car i have owned since then.
i have a K&N CAI on it and some vinyl graphics.i want to put a Corsa exhaust on it and get a Predator.
i prob wont do much else to this car since there are only 300 of the Plum Crazy SRT8's.
i would like to pick up another SRT8 in a few years, that needs a motor, and build a stroker for it.

My name is David Daniel. I've been newly inducted into the 40's club. I drive a 2006 Inferno Red SRT8. I mostly roll with my Forge-tech 22" rims, but for the winter I roll out my stock SRT 20" rims. I've added a Dub CAI, Zoomers Cat-back exhaust, DMH Electric Cutouts, Aftermarket 7" DVD/Nav unit and some Billet Tech underhood excessories. I haven't went crazy with the mods yet (although Jag is constantly trying to get me to Mod Up). I've already done more to the car than I originally thought. The only other Mopar that I've owned was a 95 Dodge Avenger ES. Loved the look and the handling, but it was way underpowered. 155HP for such a big car was just silly. I previously owned a 71 Chevelle SS with a 350. It was a great car and that's where I got the Muscle car bug. I went into the Navy after high school and served at NAS Miramar (we shared the hanger with Top Gun). My F-14 squadron was also attached to the USS Ranger (CV-61). I went to the Western Pacific and beyond 3 times. Saw many great places and spent too much time out in the middle of the ocean. Now I work for a computer consulting firm in Fresno and am recently divorced but happier than ever. I have been fortunate enough to meet many other LXers in the last year and a half of being a Charger owner and you guys/gals are one of my favorite parts of being part of the LX family. I look forward to getting to know many of you much more.

    Cheers to CenCal LX!

    Hello everybody.
My name is Dave. I live in Fairfield.
I was never really a "car guy" until my Magnum came into my life.
I'm not even sure if I am a car guy now but I do know that I am a "Magnum Guy".

I drive an 2005 RT (Cool Vanilla) with a modest little list of mods. Mostly cosmetic because for me it already came with enough performance.
I do have a DubAir CAI, Magnaflow Exhaust.
I am waiting with great anticipation for my color matched AAC Halo Headlights to arrive.

As for hearing about the CenCalLX.... How could I not hear about it? LOL.
Like most of you I was affiliated with the "other" club (you know), and Steve and Kiley have been quite the Marketing and Promotions team in getting the word out and the club up and going.

Knowing Kiley this will be a very busy club and I will do what I can to participate and attend as much as I can (needs girlfriend's blessings).
I look forward to seeing the familiar faces and meeting all of the new ones.

Ok, I'll be next. My name is Raymond and I live in Pinole. I have a silver 2006 300 SRT/8. This is the first car I've bought in a long time. Don't get me wrong, I've been a car guy since I was 12 but nothing really caught my attention til the LX's came out. In high school, I had a 1971 Camaro SS350 (God, why did I sell that car!!!) and then in '84, I bought my 1st brand new car. It was a VW Rabbit GTi, the 1st "pocket rocket". It was a great car but after a few years, I wanted a big V8 again. The late 80's and 90's were pretty bad, IMHO, for cars and I went through a series of SUV's and trucks. I never thought I would buy another car again.

Then the Magnum came out. Holy moly! That was a bad looking car! I was interested. Then the 300 arrived, WOW! Sweet ride! Interested even more. Chrysler then released the 300 SRT. Ding ding ding, we have a winner!! I headed to the dealer with my 2003 Dodge Ram Quad-Cab Hemi Express and drove out with my new baby.

My wife wasn't really thrilled when I did it cause I put thousands into mods for the truck and here I was starting over. See, I'm a modder. I can't leave anything well enough alone. I've got 4 motorcycles in the garage so my modding budget is pretty high and this car has been no exception.

Let's see if I can remember everything.
    • Dub-Air CAI
    • Zoomers exhaust
    • TommyZ grille
    • AAC halos
    • Stealth bulbs and clear markers
    • 20" chrome Viper wheels
    • Rear window spoiler
    • LED tails
    • Dual Kicker L7's in a custom box
    • Rosewood dash
    • BilletTech knobs
    • Harmon Kardon iPod integration kit
    • DP Sports strutbar
    • 22Elite leather console cover
    • LED mirror covers
    • Hotchkis sways (going on this weekend)
    • Predator (yeah baby!)
I know there's more but that the major part of the list. I had a vision of how I wanted it to look and it's almost there. I love this car as much now as I did when I drove it off the lot. This one's a keeper.

This car has become so much more than just a vehicle. I've met so many cool people with similar interest and going to car shows and M&G's has been fun for me and my family. It was a little disheartening when all the bull$h!t came out with the "other club" but I'm glad that CenCalLX came to fruition. Most of the cool people I've met are still around.

Sorry for being so long winded. I'll end it for now and hope to meet/see some of you on Sunday.

    • 2006 300 SRT/8 - Bright Silver
    • BT Frankentake CAI, Zoomers exhaust, AAC ColorShift v2.0 halos, CDC Glassback roof and trunk panel, HID fogs, Stealth markers and bulbs, LED tails and mirror covers, 22elite cover, TommyZ Deep Dish grill, USW 22" Extravagants with Vredestein tires.
