I've been looking for some for awhile now. While I was waiting the 3 hours for Les Schwab to remove my 20 lug nut locks, I walked across the street to Kragen's and found some. It was behind 2 bottles of the 1.0 stuff. I'm glad I looked. I also picked up another Mother's clay bar system. Looks like I'll be busy this week.

WalMart is where I get my Quick Detailer Spray for 7 bucks. They didnt have NXT there but there was a spot on the shelf and price was 9 bucks. AutoZone here its 15 bucks.

My car still hasnt had a bath in 3 weeks and looks like a million bucks. Then again she hasnt moved in the last 7 days. But I credit its wonderful look to Meguires.

And Bookeem for getting me hooked on Megs.

    I'll miss you big brother!

    looks great man..

talk about spring cleaning though, 12 hours straight detailing the mag saturday..

polished with dual action cleaner/polish,and a megs polishing pad on my UDM,got rid of most of the swirls, all the scratches, being its a daily driver i didnt want to spend another 8 hours polishing it to a defect free finish..

then polished again with colorX, being it has fillers to fill in the remaing swirls i didnt fully polish out, and its a great paint cleaner, with light sealing/wax properties to it..after these 2 steps the black was already stunning..

then sealed it with megs polymer synthetic sealant, hour later applied another coat...

then sunday got up crack of dawn, flooded the car with water from the open hose, no nozzle so the water sheets off, and rinsed the pollen off, then applied a coat of gold class wax...WOW, the metallic paint was sparkling from a mile away, just sucks that i lost my digi cam, an the damn pollen coated the car with in a few hours...then its raining today, but its so slick and clean, the rain just beaded away, and tomorrow all i will need is my speed detailer to remove the pollen and dust, then ultimate quik detailer to make it all pop again..

    Thank You Haz

Damn thats being busy. I need to start looking at another maker of fiber towles. Im not to sure I like the current bunch. If I ever come up with the cash for the paint work I'll have it shot with a stronger clear coat. The factory crap is just to soft.

tooth pick scratches, a very soft tooth brush is better and lil quik detailer to loosen/soften it up..

i put my sealant(s) on first before any LSP'S (last step products like nxt, gold class etc) only cause a sealant wont bond if whatever u used before it has carnuba in it..

any yeah good quality mf towels are the key to removing product with great results, makes no sense polishing out swirls, then inflicting some while removing your products with not so great/soft and plush mf towels

    Thank You Haz

oh ok your still good to go then..lol

yeah ive had certain tooth brushes do that as well, the one i use now is baby tooth brush, super soft, and a soft touch does it right..

btw a lil peanut butter and i mean a lil on a mf towel will take off any wax residue on black trim...then flip the towel and wipe clean..

    Thank You Haz
