Club Meet and Greet Logistics plans

Hi everyone Steve and I were talking today and we are trying to come up with ideas on how to plan meet and greet points for everyone in the club. We cover a wide area of California and we want to include everyone. Here is the dilema.. we have members in Yuba City all the way down to Fresno and probably farther. I know how the drive from Yuba City is to any where it is long and not easy to get to a lot of places without driving a few hours. And we have our members in the tip of So-Cal territory and they too would have a long trip to say a Roseville or even the bay area.
We need some ideas on how you all would like to meet, we were thinking of having centralized meets say one section have a meet on a Sunday and the next section have a meet on the next Sunday and so on... We would like to get the club together for all club meets maybe once every two or three months. We could assign members to head up these sections and organize the meets with the members in that area. I would think that the person running the meets for that territory could travel to a few meets in the other sections that month as well. Just to make sure the messages are getting communicated. I hope I am not making this more complicated than it needs to be. We would have to communicate a lot in order to communicate club events and such. Maybe we could discuss this when we meet at Ken's house on the 17th? We are open to ideas.. let's hear what you all have. Remember this is our club.

Yeah that sounds good. I say super meets every 3 months, and we should break the club down into zones. I'm here to help so whatever you guys need, just let me know.

I think this is a graet idea. It would be nice to have a Bay Area chapter. While I don't mind travelling a little, something local would be nice. The M&G back in Dec. at In-N-Out in Milpitas was very successful from what I heard (I had a prior comitment and was unable to attend). As I am still new to the whole car club scene I would like to be available to help in any way I can.

Sounds great bubba! "Zone" meets sound good and folks could go to whichever (or all) if they choose and club news, etc. could be communicated right here and on the club website.

Put me down for the Central Valley Chapter (Modesto, Stockton, Merced)

I think Dave can organize Fresno, and we should also have Sacramento area represented.

Bay, CV, Sac, Fresno.......... who else?

I would not mind heading up the Yuba City, Sac, Fairfield area if know one minds. I do not mind driving so I could hit the other meets as well.

I haven't really spoken up about the new club because the central valley is a bit far for me but if you have a Bay Area chapter, I'm in!

How about the Golden Gate chapter of CenCalLX?
