    Amp rack progress

This project started at Steve's house during his T&T on the 2nd but we ran out of time to finish. Then the next day I left for a short vacation. Well today I was able to make some more progress. I installed some additional Dynamat and also ran the rear speaker cables. I also finished the amp rack. It's still not done yet but should be by the weekend.

    Before (just a sub amp)

    After

They were "just" long enough. I did run them down the middle but moved them to the side behind the rear seat to follow the channel in the trunk cover. I didn't want them to get pinched.

Tomorrow I need to pull them back towards the front about 5". I ran them to leave as much slack as possible in the trunk but that didn't give me any play to adjust where I wanted to place the Pac Audio module behind the dash. Right now the module is rubbing on the glovebox.

Brian and Rudy, thanks! It sure would be nice to have a full day to finish the project. I've spent the last couple of days after work to get it done. One more day should do it. The only thing left is to secure the tweeter pods in the doors and find a better place to secure the Pac Audio adapter behind the dash and the one in the trunk.
