    Alameda County Sheriff/Deputy has a charger!

    Sorry no pics, but saw it on the way home the other day. Looks like a navy charger with a goofy roof rack from head on.

    The city of Pinole got their first one a couple weeks ago too. It's pretty cool looking.

    Our local police department just got a charger too and a few days ago at the ice cream parlor met the deputy. He was very kind and polite and when I asked him.... "Does it got a HEMI?". He said no, that it was a turbo charged V-6. And said it's slow on take off but top end in unbelieveable! I was shocked; didn't know they could get an option like that! ???????? Ever heard of that?

    haha, yeah its a v6. i talk to him all the time when i go into alameda and eat at the nob hill grocery store there on blanding ave. i drove up next to him a few months back when he got it and asked him if he wanted to run em.

    fyi...alameda speed limit is like 25 through the ENTIRE city.

    Yeah, used to live in Alameda when I first moved out to California. With all the blue hairs in Alameda, driving 25 is no problem.
