24 hours of LeMons - Altamont Motorsports Park - May 10-11

I first heard about this event last year and hopefully can go this year. Its basically some of the craziest cars (all junkers) enduro racing the whole weekend.

Spectators get in for $5, mothers get in free (since its mothers day weekend).

Health allowing I'm going to go out probably Saturday to get some photos and talk to some of my buddies who'll be racing some old mopars.

Might be worth a look see. It would be neat to see just how long a junker can last.

I got a friend coming down from Washington to drive his '79 Chrysler Newport and there's also the Team Size Matters car, a '67 Plymouth Fury. Plus an assortment of Hondas, Buicks and Volvos, at least based on last year's runners.
