    underdrive pulley

    Has anyone her installed a underdrive pulley? I am thinking about getting one but only if one of you guys could help me install it. thanks
    I eat through end links like candy bars!

    I didn`t install mine - had FRI do it. But reading up on it found out a couple little tidbits...

    Let the car set for about 5 hours to let the crank become totally cool to make sure the metal is totally contracted

    Boil the pulley for about 15 minutes to expand the crank housing

    im saving mine that I got already for my cam install so it will be free b/c they got to put it al back on when there done right..so why not save money!!

    MHP seemed to put mine from PPP on when the car was cool pretty easily this weekend, block was also pulled so it wasn't too much of a problem. It fit fine, just needed the new bolt and belt too... no worries. Haven't seen any dimming yet my battery reads at an average of 14 volts, but that's also without a/c on.

    You need new cam and crank pulley bolts when doing a cam or underdrive pulley install. Not to mention gaskets... These are things I personally wouldn't want to go cheap on by trying to reuse.

    Where is everyone getting the puller needed to remove the stock pulley???
