Friend picked up an '09 Challenger SRT...

Considering the average rear wheel horsepower is around 700 (from 400 to 1600+) for the cars in Sriyantha's garage(s), I'm expecting the SRT will be getting some mods over the next 2-3 weeks. I think his plans are A.R.T. in Buda will be doing a 440cid for it, long tubes, Corsa catback and CCW wheels. He's already got coilovers on it too.

Regardless, it'll be freakin' sweet like all of his other vehicles. ('69 Camaro that will make you speechless, '69 Mach 1 that looks as nice as the Camaro but still not near as baddass, '06 ZO6 & 400hp Miata for tracks w/turns, '09 ZR1, '09 Nissan GTR, '10 Camaro SS on order, '08 BMW M5 w/stroked V10, Ferrari F430 & 550 Maranello, '05 Ford GT w/TT, '95 Supra that'll go 241mph in 1 mile or 188mph in ¼ mile in 7.91 seconds with IRS and 6-speed manual + is streetable)

Yeah, SW finally did it.

I've been pestering him to get one. I'm surprised it's not black though

I kinda of wish it was so he could do it the way I wanted to do one. Oh well, I bet it will get the HRE wheels. I'll have to stop by and see him to plant a few ideas in his head.

I invited him to the garage day a while back. He wasn't sure what he had going on that day yet.

This one is out of date! He went 246 in March! Yeah, SW is the man for speedy cars around here. Very nice guy w/ a history of cool cars dating back to before he was old enough to drive...legally. His dad was a cool car guy too that made sure he knew how to drive fast correctly at a very young age.

I spoke to SW earlier. Yes, he is getting a 440 (~640hp) from ART. I think that is actually an Arrington motor. He does have some cool things already going on for that car. I've had a few Challenger ideas tucked away in my pea brain so I just sent him the pictures & links for my ultimate Challenger build-up,not that the needs my help. He's never been one to do a car wrong, but then there was that Ferrari hatchback thing his mom had back in the late 70's. Couldn't tell you what that was...

Anyway, he is still unsure if he will make it on June 20th. Don't worry, if the Challenger is in pieces, he has other Mopars to bring.

He is definitely interested in getting together with us when time allows.
