Come join Capital City at the largest Street Rod show in Texas, April 18th

We will start out with Dinner @ 6pm.
Locations Rudy's BBQ (360 location just west of Barton Creek mall) when you enter the parking lot, go to the right side and towards the back to park.

If you enjoy pre-1964 cars, bikes and street rods, you will not want to miss this and you are invited to join us for dinner prior to going to the Lonestar Round Up cruise night.

I have been the past several years and it is a fantastic gathering put on by the Kontinental's car club. All kinds of cars and bikes are out cruising S.Congress. It centers around the http://www.continentalclub.com/ Truly, there are so many vehicles from all over the country, you will be amazed. Folks come from all over the world for this. I have met guys from Sweden, Austrailia and GB. Some of the big names from California show up and several magazines are there, too. Everyone really gets into it and many dress the part.

There are so many cars that they take up both sides of the street, for many blocks, as well as most streets that cross Congress for a block or so. Last year, we had to park south of the area at a school down the street and walk back up to the area. Yes, it is that big!
*BTW, this is one night a year that open beverages are somewhat allowed on South Congress, so bring a chair and your own beverage if you wish.

This coincides w/ our monthly dinner and cruise night so what better time to really have a good time.

Who is up for it? We will pick a place to eat near there, but not too close.

Sorry Guys, work prevails. Sounds like big fun and I'm dissappointed I'm going to miss it! Hopefully I'll find time to give my ride the Zaino treatment before the next opportunity to see you guys. Got my kit but NO time! GRRR!

Right now I only plan on going to S. Congress on Saturday night. It is a great place to see the cars up close and as they are driven.

I would recommend bringing a folding chair to sit in for S. Congress.
