Cold Air & Diablo Question?

Hey Guys;

I just ordered an Airflow CAI and Diablo Tuner and I needed your opinion. From what I can see Airflow is among the tops in HP and Torque numbers and they are the only one I can find with Polished tube and no box at the end. I also think I just paid the cheapest price around for the tuner; $325 with usb and power supply. My questin is do i need a 180 T-Stat prefably Jet, and who gonna help me install it all? LOL

i did the same thing today i paid 350 for the diablow which included overnight shipping. so th e brand cai you bought is airflow? where di you get it? im interested in the thermostat also.

larry i think the chirping going into second gear was the pavement. bc i didnt do it when i raced a 350z....... i got pulled over when i pulled into the neighbor hood to picl my son back up. i was suprised wil.co. let me off. im enjoying the diablo so far how about you? we will have to meet up again.

With the diablo, and the 180* stat, you change when the fans turn on and off. Your engine will run cooler. The stock temperature setting is higher, witch is a tad better with emissions I'm led to believe.
Using the 180* stat with Diablo, and cai and cat back rules.

I installed a carbon fiber airhammer cai yesterday myself. I know little about cars, but was easy.
No harm in reading the instuctions I had with my hammer. Will give you alot of good information. For example. If your cai is long, it shows you how to relocate the power steering resevoir.
