Now, I've been around the track for a *little* while... By NO MEANS, am I an expert driver, or anything like that. But heck... I CAN jam the "go" pedal to the floor just like the rest of 'em.
Most of ya know, that I run with my 22's on the car...My 60' times were OBVIOUSLY the worst ever, because of tall the rotating mass, etc...
But today would be different. I proclaimed that I shall NOT run crappy 60' times! NOT this time my friends! I recently aquired some nice DR's for this day....(Thanks Rob!)... and I expected to improve my 1/4 time by a little bit!... Certainly my 60' times would have improved and gotten below 2.0 right!?!? WRONG!!!

so... WTF is MY problem?? Here's my timeslips from the day. Talking to the rest of the guys, they're 60' times seemed pretty normal, so the track and conditions; while hot/humid, were within reason for this comparison.
On each of these runs, I had the rpm's raised to just above 1000 rpms...and even up to about 1500 on one of these slips (I forget which one). but the 60' times are STILL NOT below 2.0 ... I dunno WTF is going on.
Oh... tires stuck like glue at launch!
As far as mods, you guys know.(see sig)...but heck, I'll lay 'em out again for those that dont view sigs:
Airhammer Intake.
ported TB.
Spartan cam.
JBA high-flow cats.
SLP catback exhaust.
CMR tune.
and 17 X 8.5 Borbet TS w/ 275/40 Hoosiers
I dunno....... any ideas from the experts???
