About LinkBacksI met up with a bunch of guys from LXforums and Challengertalk for a day at the races at Dragway42. We had some good air and ran pretty good despite a very strong head wind.
I got a new best 60' and 1/8th mile....but the head wind really slowed me on top end.
60': 1.781 (stock converter)
660: 8.075 @ 87+
1/4: 12.62 @107+
Had I not had the headwind that run could hae beat my previouls best of 12.58. Either way it was alot of fun because the announcer made multiple comments about all the chargers and challengers that were there.
I had a -.007 RT in the 2nd round.....that's how it goes sometimes.

Did they finally prep the track for eliminations ? My 2 60fts were 1.76 and 1.81 Wish I could have stayed but I had to get the car home and see where the tranny fluid blew out from

It seemed pretty good for eliminations. My 60's were all high 1.7's with the one exception we talked about yesterday (1.86).

No nothing bad, where the tube for the dipstick we don't have was comming out of the tranny and at the end of the run while hitting the brakes and downshifting tranny fluid shot out and dripped all over the headers and it was smoking a little scary comming back into the pits with smoke comming out around the wheelwell.
Changed the tires and started it and let it run awhile with no leaking so I got it home, got it on the ramps and pulled the tube down in and tightened the bolt on the bracket
