    Tire pressures

What kinds of tire pressures are people using at the track (road course)?

I'm currently running 34 pounds in my F1's.

My decision was based on the concept that the lowest tire pressure possible is best for grip, as long as you aren't rolling over on the tires. At 34 pounds my wear appears spot-on perfect to the edges (the top of the little side markers that show where the tread wear markers are).

It could be that I'm not pushing the tires hard enough, though, and that if I push them harder they might need more pressure?

I'm honestly not sure how much is truth and how much is old wives tales, so I thought perhaps we could consolidate knowledge here.

As a side note, lat week I bumped the pressures to 40 pounds, and it did seem better.

I don't have a SRT8, but it seems that if I run 40 psi in the 255/55/18's the grip is better, unless the road is very bumpy. Of course my sidewalls are a bit taller.
