Well a great morring of air and getting to the track silly early and actually beat HemiC to the track ( thats a first ).
Changed out the DR's and pumped up the front tires to 60# and got everything ready to race beforethe gates opened.
Got through tech as Chris made his first pass, and I zip over to the pits pull the passneger seat and empty out the back of the car and hit the lanes and Chris is a few cars in front of me. I seem him lay down his 12.04 and I know its going to be a good day.
I get a solid burn out, stage up and Drill a 1.79 60' and this is as strong as the car has left in months it seems, and teh shift felt solid and I cross the beams and I couldn't catch my et.
I pull up get my slip and I see the 1.79 then I see the 13.07 @ 104.11 mph and I was very happy. I run over the scales at 4235# and I have.
So, the rest of the day is spent chasing that damn 12.99
The rest of the day I was having traction issues, from people draging water up, breaking on the line, yadda yadda.
So unless something falls into place I am done for the year and by the next outting I should have Heads and Cam in the car.
I am also looking into some Trans/Converter/tuning small issues that have plauged me for the last few months. I think that is part of what is holding the car back because after that first pass, the car was a turd on shifts and out of the hole ( if I wasnt spinning the tires off it ).
I am hoping to have some TCM controls from Diablo soon.

Ill have scans of the Slip tonight when I get home.
