    New Weld wheels & Hoosier DR's

    This is a overkill, but i need to save every ounce I can with all the bling I throw on my car.....
    17x9.25" wheel and 275/40/17 tire=36lbs

    Hoping to run these at Spring Festival.
    Have not even tried to fit them yet, just took them out of the box....

    not cheap.
    if i say how much, it will confirm what most people suspect -- that I'm not rational when it comes to my car...
    the hoosiers are $190 ea, the wheels $660
    truth is you can probably get a damn light wheel for hundreds less -- Ernie has some good deals and the mustang cobra wheel seems to be a good choice.

    I'm not gonna say these are the best, but they are very light which I need and I was lucky enough to sneak these past mrs hemiwagn...

    Mods: 6.1 motor with PPP Ported Heads and 224/228 598/578 113LSA, stock tq converter, stock SRT headers with gutted cats, JBA 3in exhaust, LMI hammer design intake. The only 6.1 motor running a 2.82 rear.....Soon to be 3.06 gears.....Installs done by Afterhours Mopar Performance

    Were the welds $660 a piece or for the pair? nice looking setup. Big wieght savings over the cobra rims, figure 10.1 lbs per wheel lighter = 20.2 lbs less rotating mass than the cobra rims, should make up for a tenth or so .
