First time with the Magnum

Well finally got the magnum to the track. It was locals street night here in the area and they let you run your street car out on the track to see what she'll do. Had alot of fun. Made six passes all together. Got a 12.6 at 113mph! I was so excited! That is with over 500lbs. of stereo equipment in the trunk on street tires!

Lol that would be just like in the old magnum commercials! You should almost put clear glass in the back, so when you are passing people they can see all the stuff in the back!

good run. I'd hope anything with a blower like that on it would run fast regardless of year. That's the same time with a better trap i was running this weekend with intake and exhaust and a race weight of 4600+lbs on street tires. With some practice, i'm sure that twin-screwed SRT will be able to go even faster.

I think if I decrease the weight (i.e. take the subs out) and get some shoes for her I could definately see 11's.

But I like having the subs in there, it was funny to see the reaction when people saw my time and then looked in my trunk. I just wanted to she what she would do, and it gives me a base to go off of for future mods!!

just be really careful at the track. If you hook with that much weight in the car combined with the power your making, your half shafts will get annihilated. The only thing keeping them in 1 piece right now is the fact that your spinning off the line and not hooking up.
