    Chin Spoiler, Clean Deck?

I don't know which forum to put this in, so I picked this one because I figured you guys would know best.

I have a Charger R/T with a clean deck lid. I'm considering either swapping the bumper cover for an SRT8 bumper cover with the integrated chin spoiler, or install a Danko chin spoiler. Honestly, I'm doing it for appearance. But a good friend of mine that does a lot of track racing (no MoPar) mentioned checking the aerodynamics of doing the chin spoiler without a deck lid spoiler...he mentioned it could screw up the aero and maybe lift the rear end at higher speeds.

So I'm looking for your takes on this. I'm not racing my car...my high speeds would be on the expressway. But I want to be safe. Have you guys seen issues with this kind of configuration? Does it cause problems?

    Thanks.

Mathematically, there will be in increase in lift forces on the rear of the vehicle. Whether or not you'll notice it depends on your "oneness" with your car, environmental conditions (wind, humidity, and temperature), and obviously speed. At 55 mph, you probably won't notice it, but at 130+, the back end might start getting loose. If you can behave all the time, you won't notice.

    Thanks.

Anyone running this configuration and pushing the envelope?
