Well, I didn't quite get to the top of the Timeslip Data Base and knock XCITsNU off his lofty perch, but I did get to the top of Big D/PA class:
There's still room for improvement on that launch, too--it's a pretty thin blade between max effort and up in smoke with the RED OCTOBER, but if I shave a couple more tenths, before the noble Yankees on this site have a chance to get to an open track, she will have earned that coveted title of First Strike Weapon into the Ten's.
In the meantime, I think I do have fastest MPH @ 122.03:
Last night also produced my best all motor NA run:
Speaking of too much power, that NA run was also my quickest 60' time of the evening, though not my best of 1.65. I still have to hone some skills and play around with rear tire pressures methinks.
Major Mods:
420 Stroker by 392Stu built for nitrous (and I mean built), two stage nitrous system blowing through a Nitrous Outlet fogger, Holley high capacity fuel pump, Diablo Predator and tuning by Johan, Kooks long tubes flowing into 3" midpipes and a JBA 3" catback, ProTorque 2800 TC, Drive Shaft Shop 1000HP axles, Hurst roll control line lock, Nitto 305/45/18 DR's, Quaife diff.
Major Thanks: My wife Debby for being (acting?) supportive, Stu for a bodacious motor, Lopez at Xpertech in Delray (engine & TC installation), Jim Smith and his shade tree garage in Lake Worth (crew chief), Frank at DSS for developing the half shafts, Peter at RoadnRace for the multiple axle and differential installs, Johann in DelRay Beach for the expert DiabloSport tuning, and the guys n dolls on LXForums for the inspiration.
I don't expect this record to stand for long, so where in the heck do I get that trophy football logo thingy?
