Got up early, took the boys and my buddy to Cecil...got an Early cool morning run or two.

VERY interesting day. Got to run with Rob (Torred #1179) and his car is always fun to watch rip 12.5 after 12.5. Great guy and fun to chat with between runs.

First run of the day...15.2 ET...2.6 60' with MASSIVE spin.

Then....step it up and run...Slowest run of the day after that was a 13.43, a couple 13.3xx's and then these two passes.

Two other interesting notes...watch a guys hub, lugs and wheel become 3 separate entities off the line.

Then....at 180mph an 8 second camaro came unglued. 3rd gear shift near 1000' line hooked badly, first left...then right into his lanes outside wall...scrubbing some speed across the traps...and then.... 90 freaking degree turn left and T bones the other wall.

Amazingly - cars were back on the track running 10 minutes later. I also saw the guy go get his trailer and head to pick up the mangled car. I was STUNNED.

Well....great racing season. The McNews custom tune on the Diablo worked to give me 3 runs with trap speeds in excess of 104. I set 3 new personal bests and got OH SO FREAKING Close to RobAGD's elusive 13.250.

I'm gunning though...may not be putting the d/r's away just yet.

13.337 @ 103.44mph

We didn't pick up TONS...but I consistently ran better trap speed and pulled 3 new best times. CLick on my eProfile Mike and you can see todays runs vs. the other ones.

A drive out to PA hmm, might have to think about that, would be a haul but have never been out there, wifey might like to go, plus I love the DA's you guys are getting. As I see things progessing with these vehicles I see stock cam cars runing 12's soon, heck you probably would with just a TC in the mix. I hope to run just as good as you and Rob have this year or better.
