I had the same trouble with MT 315's until I actually raised the pressure enough that I could freely spin them in the burnout box - if you don't heat them up well, they just don't catch.
In my case, I tried them all the way from 17psi up to 28, and I couldn't reliably spin them free when doing a burnout. I finally tried them at 34psi, and they worked great! Spun them free, heated them up, and then once I was staged and the light turned, I hit it hard at they stuck and went.
So unless you're sure you're getting a good burnout on both of them, I'd suggest trying a little more pressure to see if that helps.
What kind of mods do you have? Make sure you get them both heated up evenly and they should stick.

I ran the Mickey Thompsons religiously for a while. I had best results running them between 18 and 22 psi. Best 60' was high 1.6's with low 1.7's being the norm. Heating them up evenly was certainly the key. Seems that getting them spinning in the water was the best way to start out.
Good luck,
Chris
