    2010 Camero SS at the track

    I was at the track with my Son last night and made this video. Not impressed with the performance of this 400+ H.P. car which is intended to compete with the SRT8 Challenger.

    WTF...My near stock R/T runs 8.5 in the 1/8 and the car looks like something from the ultra man show in the 60's...

    9.48 is like a 14.5 in the quarter mile. My 4x4 QC Ram can beat that, hehe.

    the looks and sounds like the L99 automatic V-8 SS rated at 400hp and not the LS3 6spd SS rated at 426hp. looks like it has 21 inch rims also. still looks slow for 400hp
    edit: just saw that henessey clip that guy shifts way to early.

    They have run 12.70-12.80 @ 111mph with the six speed in testing with the SS cars. 13.0-13.1 with the auto...I know several guys that are (were?) part of the focus group with Scott S.

    Not impressed with the run after all the hype but until I see or race one then I'll decide if its an actual threat on the streets. Ofcourse here in arkansas I doubt I'll ever see the LS3 426hp version

    The 426HP should take an SRT because of the 300 lbs weight difference. Consider the weight and the SRT performs just as well as the Camaro.
