It would really depend on the wheel offset, but I've used a 275/40/20 before.
May be hard to see here but these are 275's on a 20x8.5 with a 40mm offest Boss 326. A 265/45 would also work

Can you go that wide on a stock sized wheel? If now how wide can you go, I'm looking to go wider on my next set of slicks.
