    RT AWD milage question

Im considering a used RT AWD, and was wondering what milage youre getting. I have a commute of 30 miles each way, with 20-23 miles at 70 and 7-10 miles of 35-45 mph and a few stoplights...

    thanks for any input.

    awd mileage

Mine gets at least 23 mpg on the highway. If I'm cruising at 70 and take it easy with the MDs ,I can get 25-26 mpg. Once on my way to wisconsin, I had a strong tail wind and cranked out 29, I verified this with a tank refill.

I'm getting around 15-17mpg in the city. On the freeway, at 75mph I can get roughly around 20-21mpg. I've got a twitchy lead foot. My car has 4500 miles. I was putting 87 octane when the weather got colder but it seems to have worsened the mpg a little bit. I'm going back on 93 octane (Costco) to see if it's get better.

thanks for the input.. searching on this site i found comparable answers, but also found awd rts which average less than 20 mpg in mixed driving.

sounds like as long as i use cruise control and be somewhat conservative (ya, right) then ill hit my target 21-22 mpg for my commute.

My results are pretty much in line with these. On the highway, at 70-75 mph, I can get 22-23 mpg. If I slow down to 60ish, I can get 1 or 2 mpg better. Stop and go kills my mpg, easily dropping me to 15-16 mpg or less (but a lot of that is because of how I drive ).

Based on your commute, I would guess around 21-22 mpg, depending on your driving style.

Well I have about the same distance to work with mix almost like yours. If I am easy on the throttle and stay around 65 MPH I seem to get anywhere from 20.5 to 21 MPG average according to the EVIC. If I play a little I get around 19 MPG
