    Rims for AWD

There are not many rims for the AWD. I never knew why it mattered. Even my dodge dealer couldnt tell me! I found a post yesterday saying the offset has to be 55, where as most offsets are 35-42. Is this correct? And does anyone know where I can find some nice rims for my AWD Magnum! Is there anything you can do to make a rims with a smaller offset fit?

A rim with a +42 offset will work. RWD rims have a +24 offset.

What about the Foose nitrous wheels in GREY? you list them in chrome and black ... but they make a gray.

I would beg to differ with you on that fact their aren't many rims.
There's tons of them around . You just need to look abit for them.

Search the forum and you'll find numerous threads where folks have posted picts and names of the wheels thay have found. There seems to be more and more every day.

I run a 38 offset and its a great it.

My rims are +42 offset and the 255 tires do stick out slightly past the fender. It's not very noticeable but a bit too much for my liking.
I'll be going with 245s next time I'm replacing the tires.

    Cheers,

    Tom

There are choices. More than you think. But what I find is I know I dont want chrome... not my taste. So finding a wheel that looks killer and doesnt totally break the bank is the key. I wish someone made a AWD knockoff of the SRT charger rim or the Viper rim in gunmetal in 20"s ofcourse . Superbuytires has a huge selection and Bigwheels.net has a good selection as well.
