    KW Drop Recommendation

I bought some kw v2's and have an appointment to get them installed on tuesday. I was wondering what everyone have been droping their awd's. I dont want to "tuck" the wheels but definitaly want the gap to disappear. I also heard that the suspension will "sink" a little over a month or so. I was thinking of a 1.5 drop all around. does anyone know how low you can drop the car without needing a camber kit? I am running 265/35/22 tires and DS02 rims with a +40mm offset. sorry for all the questions with the first post but thanks for the replies.

I hope a little late is better that never....

I've got 275/40/20s. Initially I dropped mine so there was about 1 1/2" from the top of the tire to the outside top of the fender all the way around. This was perfect for the tight and twisties but a little unforgiving. I have now adjusted to about 2" of clearance in the front and 2 1/2" in the rear. How much that is from stock I don't remember. I hope that helps. If you are replacing the stock suspension you will love the ride. The car won't start to float above 130mph and really sticks to the ground around corners. It also helps with the whiplash you would otherwise get from jackrabbit starts and stops. Enjoy your new ride...

thanks for the reply, I just got the car back and they said they lowered it an inch, which left about a finger and a half worth of gap. the ride is a little harsher but your right about the whiplash at start and stops, definitly worth the difference, also they said that I still have some drop left If i want to (so I dont rub when turning) the BMW people did point out that the drivers side front bracket (where the shock bolts up) is one degree off being straight up and down, interesting, I wonder if this is why people report the car vering to the right.
