Last time I was at the track 13.7, and that was before I had longtubes/throttle body, all i had back then was diablo 93 CAI with home made intake.
also we rebuilt the engine since, and I plan on going on AWD dyno, wondering how much I will put down,
So my question is how much do you all think I will put down/and make at the motor/what will that get me in the 1/4?
My mods as of now include:
-Stock heads, in few month I plan on putting the sparrow cam in (but not yet)
-Mopar Longtubes (catless, 3inch the whole way, X pipe) (plan on getting a tune for this)
-Diablo 93 tune
-bigger Throttle body, I think its 85
-Mopar CAI
-180 T-stat
-BCR coilovers
-SRT rep wheels
Without the cam you will still likely be at the same spot 13.7-13.5 even with the cam and a great tune i don't think you will break into the 12's... the SRT Rep wheels are heavier than stock which will affect your time... Take a look at Token & Done's rides they will give you a good idea of what you would need to break into the 12's with our AWD cars
2007 Charger R/T AWD
Predator, 180 T-stat, 20" Charger SRT Replicas, Custom Exhaust, BCR Coilovers, CF SRT 8 Hood, Honeycomb Grill, Rear Diffuser, Daytona lip, Carbon Fiber Accents, HID's, R1 Rotors, Hawk Pads.
So many mods, so little money...
Your relative time to the 13.7 is going to depend on the DA at the time you made the 13.7. You could be faster or slower. My time will vary from right at 14.0 at +3000 DA down to 13.0 at -500 DA strictly on the changes from summer to fall.
I would not expect much from the long tubes untill you also change the cam and heads.
Im at around sea level, I dont know about the heads, but I definitely want to do cam, heads most likely in future
I agree w/ the 2 above. I think you'll be stuck about the same, maybe a tenth faster. Even with a cam (and look into the Sparrow well...Gabe had problems on that cam with his AWD), you're only going to pick up another 3 tenths maybe with the AWD system. Of course, like Done said, relative to the Density Altitude. Sparrow is high horse power cam with just ok low end torque. Just keep your eyes open and research more.
I ran a 8.7 at 81.5 mph on -500 DA with my AWD on a Sidewinder with a good tune. I think that wrinkles out to about a 13.6 at 102 mph on the 1/4 mile +/-. You may be able to get a couple of tenths lower then that with persistence and practice.

I figured the sparrow because since it has more upper rpm torque I rather have that than be afraid to launch it with a sidewinder with the stock tcase, but you think the sidewinder is better for the 1/4 (street/strip)
I have a Sidewinder and the FRI Econo heads.
