    AWD dyno question

A local Charger club that I am a member of is planning a dyno day at a local shop. Being as I own an AWD R/T I said I was in if the shop had a dyno suited to AWD cars.

Here is the reply I got:

" I called Mother's today and have more info on our Dyno Day on January 12th. An AWD car can come and can be put on the dyno. They just have to disable it like they would when it is brought for inspection at the DMV."

From the reply, it seems the shop has a traditional rear wheel dyno and they think they can "disable" the AWD and run my car like it was a RWD car.

Is this true or is the shop going to do some major harm to my vehicle?

Clearly, that shop does not know the dfference between AWD and 4WD. Don't go as it will be a waste of your time. Where are you located?

As DONE stated.....run..... Your AWD is mechanical......The only way to disable it is to remove the front shaft. Don't think that would work out well.
