    Question U7136: 9r04 vs. 9r03

I am currently running the 9r03 crom and it works well and was the first update that made the transmission shift really firm.

I have been on the Diablo site all day and I can't find what changes were made in the 9r04 crom. Anyone have the list of changes? I don't want to update if it's not better.
Tinted glass, Cut front springs 1 1/4",
AirHammer HO, Duel Flowmaster 40s, De-molded,
Sonar LED Tails, Flat black honeycomb grille,
18" RT wheels & 245/45, No ESP Mod, Predator,
Innovate WB A/F guage, Ported Lower Intake.

The 9r04 crom is for 2009 model year cars. Not needed if your 2008 model year and older.

While we are on this subject, I am running the original tune. (Remember, I was the test-car for the Predator) So basically I never did any updates. What is the difference in the 9r03 update? Also, how do I do the update? LMK guys or point me to a thread that explains it.

    thanks!!

Thanks. I'm going to have to do that. Sucks that I don't have the USB cable though. They never gave it to me.

The usb and 12v power cords were extra..

Pop by the local computer shop and pickup a usb serial cable or if your PC still has serial ports just use that..

As to power supply for in house vs. in car.. 12v 1000milliamp/1amp.. I use a spare Speedstream DSL modem power supply that I had and works great..

Cool thanks. I'll have to do it here at work. I have 2 usb ports on my computer. As for the power supply, I'm kind of confused still what you need. I thought if you were to just hook it up via USB that it would power up.

Pretty dumb of me to think that. lol
