    Srt6....

ISn't the SRT6 just a S/C V6? Would it be a little too presumptuous to S/C the 3.5L and put on the SRT6 badges on it after the extra mods like the exhaust and the cosmetic stuff? I was just thinking about it and was considering that I might just do that.

You could personally do that and it will cost more than an RT. An SRT6 is a supercharged 3.2 liter Benz engine though (in the crossfire). Its just gonna cost more, and be more problems. But if that what you are looking for, and I am probably missing the point anyways, lol.

I think it would be much more fun to NOT advertise the S/C., just to see the looks of surprise on unsuspecting V8's!

The thing is, we can get the Thomas Knight S/C for 3K. I'm looking to do that in the next year or two, plus the exhaust (probably first). I just want to do something a little different than everyone else. I figure the SRT6 Charger would be a good way to go.

cool, a one off would be sweet. The only official one then ( although SRT doesnt mean S/C ). Good luck then, should be fun!

Yeah, I knew that it didn't, but the Neon SRT4 is S/C and the Crossfire is, but the V8 and the V10 aren't. THat's what I'm thinking. I'm going to work it out. I think it'll work out.

    Thanks.

Well, to each their own, but considering all the engineering and planning that goes into any factory built SRT, I'm not sure I would do it. The SRTs get better engines, suspensions, interiors, and other options. I'm told the $10k difference between an RT and an SRT is a discount considerng. Just slapping a S/C on a V6 does not constitute a SRT6. But then I guess I'm a stuck up SRT owner.

    LOL...

I realize that, but i'm trying to come up with something a little unique when I start putting on the decals. I'm going to be doing stuff to the interior too, not just the exterior.

I was gunna put the SRT6 badges on just for poops and giggles, but they cost 130 bucks a pop...no matter what way you look at it, whether they are custom made or bought straight from the dealership.

you can do it...its your car and if you feel its worth it go for it...

granted there will always be the "there was never an srt6 charger, you misbadged this and that"...

simple rule of thumb, you pay for it, you play with it.

well, if you are looking for performance, even an SRT owner swaps out the suspension...

SAME PRICE for the V2's, springs, and Sway bars, for SRT's or SXT's. Strike one for saving on suspension.

Brakes? Well, if you are hitting a road course with the car, even the SRT brakes may get upgraded... Price? similar for the SXT and SRT.

    Now, down to the engine...

Well, you make the call there... I think a properly supercharged V6 would be rather interesting...

This SRT6 keeps making me think of the Avenger RT minus the SC or TC.

Then again, I'm a newer one to dodge vehicles!

I like the idea thou, and if I had the money, I'd probably do it for fun to my SXT.

I'd love to see the 3.5 super charged but my opinon is that you should NEVER badge a car with something that its not. I have the srt8 front fascia but not the badges. To me its just wrong.

    Peace.

If i was gona do a V6 that would be the engine... i think it would be a rocket in a charger..as for the badge i dont see it being a problem it will be on the motor so why not on the outside.........
