so the big quetions. and to see if this would do good.

ok so i have been on auto cad for a couple weeks now. just tryng to may out intake system better. just really dodalling. but how would people like to have an intake system like the v8 have. straight down the center. then we get to are plugs easy. then we could have the same cai as v8 i mean i just want to see what people think. if there is enough need and want. i will go to my uncle so he can make a moc up.

Would be sweet, issues will be with the short long runners and convincing the car to accept the intake.

Yeah, it would be sweet. Like Zoban said, trying to get around the variable intake runner issue. If you can make it happen, I'm sure it would get lots of interest!!

you can put resistors rated at the same resistance as the runner valves in the plug ends to fake the computer to think they are still there, i did this when playing around with the intake for a while and no codes showed up, this way the valves will not be an issue with this intake that does not use them

This has been a discussion in recent threads. There's an interest, but would the R&D be worth the while?

yeah ive been picking apart the Canbus from the PCM to the Upper intake for the valve runners and haven't found a way to trick it and make the short open and not the long... but maybe a upper intake with both valves but really short runs on both sides might be the awnser...

I believe that the Prowler 3.5 is the Gen 1 our 3.5's are very different. I have been talking to a guy here that is local that make custom intakes (upper and lower) using a flowjet. Might try to get something made as a beta test and see how that flys, were currently working the dimensions and the valve runner placements..
