I have had a few V6's in my time, but it seems like the Dodge 3.5l spins up very slow. I mean when you sit in park and rev the motor and rev it, it take abnormally long to spool up. Why is that? Is it because it has a heavy crank to try to improve the low end torque? It reminds me of my Polaris Scrambler 400. It reved slow like that, then I lightend the fly wheel by less than a pound and it changed dramatically. It changed the whole attitude of the bike. Went from taking off slow from a stand still to flippin over when I nailed it... I wonder if lightening the rotating mass would do the same for our motors. I didn't miss the low end torque after doing it because of the way it spooled up so fast, the HP was more readily available. It didn't change the HP, but it just got there quicker....
What do you all think?
