    Predator

Was thinking about putting the Predator on my Christmas list but I am having some reserves about it. I have around 90K on my 05 magnum and have been having engine troubles as of late. My question is if I tune my car with the Predator will this put stress on my car and potentially cause more problems? Any thoughts would be great.

Always fix engine issues in stock tune prior to changing to a canned tune. You can read engine codes with the predator, but untill engine is in good order its not recomended to alter anything with it.

Oil Sending Unit, O2 sensors and EGR valve to name a few. I believe that I have everything fixed now but I do not want to risk having to fix more issues because of tunning.

I would think if you are not having any engine issues, codes or misfire conditions that you would be fine to install a predator tune. If in future you have any engine issues, you always revert back to the saved stock tune to have it serviced.

Well if you've fixed everything and everything is running normal you should be good to go. The predator should not cause anything to fail prematurley.

Yeah, once any mechanical problems are addressed, the Diablo is definitely worth the money spent. Not to mention, like is mentioned on most ads for the Predator, this makes the car more sensitive to other mods, like a CAI, exhaust, headers, etc.

If you've got any potential mechanical issues addressed, any of the vendors (like Curt^^, *cough *cough, *wink *wink, *nudge *nudge) will be more than happy to help you. The Diablo itself won't CAUSE any problems. It will help by reading any trouble codes and clearing the codes once the problem is fixed.
2005 Magnum SXT: Fiberglass Hood, smoked LED tail lights, billet grille, Airaid CAI, Magnaflow Cat-Back, Polk Audio speakers, BT Catch Can, Debadged, Demolded, Predator 89 Tune, Ported & polished lower manifold, TB, and Jet Coated valve covers, front & rear R/T sway bars, longtube headers

To Do Still: tint the front windows, wheels and rubber, and 1 MAJOR build going on right now...stay tuned...

Also wanted to throw out there that if you haven't installed a catch can yet, its HIGHLY reccomended and will save your motor for as well,

It says that the catch can will be in stock soon. Do you know when that will be?

Thank you everyone for your advice.
