    Old school going new school

I own a older LH model but we both use the same 3.5L engine.

Anyway I've been building a new motor for my intrepid.

    Heres the list.
    ASP pulley
    JBA headers
    Port and Polished upper intake
Bored out throttle body from 68mm to 70mm
3.89 transfer gears (I know different tranny)

Anyway the reason why i'm bugging you guys is I need help on the exhaust.
The LH cars use a different exhaust system then what the LX models use.
Does anyone know where I can buy some flanges that are the same size where the cat bolts into the exhaust manifold?

Well the trep use to have a 3.2L but the oil pump died and took out the lifters and a few other things. Instead of rebuilding that motor I bought a 3.5L from jasper engines. All what is left do do is change out the gaskets on the valve covers, swap cam sprockets and flywheel. Before going with the 3.5L swap I was trying to find a way to use the 4.0L from the Nitro but found out it would eat the 42LE transmission and it would put me way over budget to convert the car to RWD and buy the correct transmission. I'm using a 3.5L High output from a 04 dodge intrepid but is the same as the LX platform but with a different air intake system.

Most of the mods im doing are typical mods that are all over di.net but I am the first to have JBA headers on that site. Everyone else is trying to convert their exhaust to just use the stock LX manifolds or fabricating their own headers.

If you cant find it, perhaps you could get a machine shop to make it, looks pretty easy to make.

I found some that will work. Just have to do a trial and error test.
