JBA`s void warrenty?

I am going to get them, regardless....but will the headers void the 07 lifetime warranty?

The way I understand it is they have to prove the headers were the direct cause of a failure to void the warranty.

I agree with the above but I would suggest speaking with your dealer. Though they may technically have to prove a mod caused a failure in order to deny a warranty claim they can make it a very difficult and lengthy process requiring a lawyer or other representation pretty easily.

The only warranty they void is the one on your original equipment exhaust manifolds that you took off.

The dealer installed the headers on my car so I doubt they would void my warranty.

Plain and simple. It won't. You just can't go to them for an exhaust problem. That's all. Everything else that is stock will still be covered.

I believe that's a federal law if I remember right. They also have to prove that it was the mod that caused the issue. Also, as long as it's bolt on, and not where you had to open up the engine, it won't void your warranty.

Obviously if the the dealer installed the headers I can continue to go back to said dealer for whatever I want/need. DaILLestWun so has his head up his ass.
